Catholic School Teaching Position

We are seeking a passionate, faith-filled, and engaging Science Teacher to join our Catholic school community and teach 5th and 6th grade students. The ideal candidate will inspire curiosity about God’s creation through hands-on learning, foster academic excellence, and support the spiritual and moral development of students in accordance with Catholic values.

• Teach 5th and 6th grade science curriculum aligned with state and diocesan standards
• Create engaging lesson plans that encourage inquiry, critical thinking, and scientific exploration
• Incorporate Catholic teachings and values into classroom culture and instruction when appropriate
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
• Utilize labs, projects, technology, and interactive activities to support student learning
• Assess student progress regularly and communicate effectively with parents and school administration
• Collaborate with faculty, staff, and administration to support school initiatives and student success
• Participate in school liturgies, faith-based activities, faculty meetings, and professional development opportunities

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Science, or a related field
• Valid state teaching certification or ability to obtain certification
• Practicing Catholic preferred, but all candidates supportive of the Catholic mission are encouraged to apply
• Experience teaching upper elementary or middle school science preferred
• Strong classroom management and communication skills
• Commitment to academic excellence and faith formation
