The University of Pittsburgh Department of Neurological Surgery is hiring a Post Doctoral Associate.
The Post Doctoral associate will perform research within the Neurotrauma Clinical Trials Center, under the direct supervision and mentorship of Ava Puccio, PhD. Training will be directed toward fostering and supporting innovative and multidisciplinary work in in traumatic CNS injury studies, which are currently being performed. Additional funding will be sought to support additional growth opportunities for the Candidate in collaboration with the training goals. Training will also promote goals to develop into an independent investigator who are fully equipped to bring he/she's expertise to rigorously and ethically study and successfully develop novel neuroprotective, resuscitative, and regenerative therapies, and improve neuro-outcomes across all neurocritical care.
Minimum education to be considered for this position is a PhD in Neurobiology.
