Health Unit Coordinator, FT at Lyngblomsten – St. Paul, Minnesota

Lyngblomsten Care Center, a 225 bed, non-profit LTC facility in St. Paul has a Health Unit Coordinator opening. It is a full-time day position.

The posted pay range of this hourly position is $21.30 to $25.55. The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.

Qualification:

• The ideal candidate must have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have a Health Unit Coordinator Certificate. No experience is required; new graduates are welcome to apply.
• Experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility is preferred.
• Ideal candidate will have experience transcribing physician orders with knowledge of medications and medical terminology.
• Knowledge of documentation and regulations in LTC as well as knowledge of HIPAA privacy regulations.
• Basic computer and data entry skills.
• Exceptional customer service and telephone skills.
• The ability to work within a team.
