Job Description

Orthopedic Center of Illinois seeks a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner to join our Team in our Decatur Walk-In Clinic location!

About the Role:

The Physician Assistant (PA) / Nurse Practitioner (NP) will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients. This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating Orthopedic needs, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive care tailored to their individual needs. This role includes both clinical and surgical time. The role requires maintaining accurate patient records and staying updated with the latest medical practices and technologies. Ultimately, the APP will contribute to improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall health of the community.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree from an accredited program.
  • Current Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice.
  • Certification as a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner in a relevant specialty area.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in a primary care or Orthopedic practice setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough physical examinations and health assessments of patients.
  • Diagnose and manage Orthopedic conditions, prescribing medications as necessary.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with patients.
  • Educate patients and their families on health management.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
