About This Position

Role:








The IT Business Systems Analyst is responsible for the administration, configuration, and ongoing support of the credit union's core business applications. This role serves as the primary point of contact for application-related issues, ensuring that staff have reliable access to the tools they need to serve members effectively. The administrator works closely with department managers, end users, and third-party vendors to maintain system stability, implement enhancements, and deliver timely technical support across the organization










Essential Functions & Responsibilities:





Application Administration & Configuration





• Administer and maintain credit union business applications, including assisting the core banking platform• Configure application settings, parameters, and workflows in alignment with credit union policies and operational requirements• Manage application updates, patches, and version upgrades in coordination with vendors and the IT team• Maintain application documentation including configurations, procedures, and change logs• Coordinate with System Administrator system performance and availability; proactively identify and address potential issuesTechnical Support & Troubleshooting





• Serve as the first point of escalation for application-related incidents and service requests submitted by credit union staff• Diagnose and resolve application errors, access issues, and workflow disruptions in a timely manner• Coordinate with software vendors and third-party support teams to resolve issues that require external intervention• Document support cases, resolutions, and recurring issues to build a knowledge base for the IT department• Communicate system changes, scheduled maintenance windows, and new feature rollouts to affected usersUser Account & Access Management





• Create, modify, and deactivate user accounts across business applications in accordance with onboarding and offboarding procedures• Assign and manage user roles and permissions based on job function and the principle of least privilege• Coordinate with Security Analyst to conduct periodic access reviews to ensure account permissions remain accurate and compliant• Maintain accurate records of user accounts and access levels for all managed systems
Vendor & Project Coordination





• Serve as the primary liaison between the credit union and business application vendors
• Support IT and business projects involving system implementations, integrations, or migrations• Assist with testing new releases, enhancements, and integrations prior to production deploymentPerforms other related duties, as assigned. Assist department teammates as needed. Travel and after hours support as needed








Knowledge and Skills:






ExperienceOne year to three years of similar or related experience. Demonstrated ability to administer and configure enterprise or business software applications. Experience with user account management and access provisioning. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical staff. Prior experience in a financial institution or credit union, Familiar with credit union business applications or banking core systems or financial service software. Desktop supporting ticket platforms, Regulatory and compliance requirements for financial institutions. ITIL foundation certificate or equivalent IT service management experience.


































Education(1) A bachelor's degree, or (2) achievement of formal certifications recognized in the industry as equivalent to a bachelor's degree (e.g., information technology certifications in lieu of a degree).

Physical Requirementsoccasional lifting and moving of computer hardware












Work EnvironmentReliable transportation and the ability to drive among the Credit Union branches/locations as projects and assignments dictate. This may include having transportation to outside training courses, when required.








Due to the nature of the Information Technology group activities, must be willing to work off-hours to implement projects and/or solve technical problems so as to minimize impact on members and users during normal banking hours.
