About This Position
Summary:
Beal Bank USA is seeking an astute, experienced SVP, Human Resources to lead Human Resources for the Bank and its affiliates. As a key member of the executive team, this hands-on leader is charged with developing a forward-looking human capital strategy that enables business growth, regulatory compliance and operational excellence within a lean, high-performing environment. This role drives enterprise-wide workforce planning, talent acquisition, leadership development and HR platform optimization. The SVP, Human Resources partners closely with senior leadership to align people strategy with evolving business objectives, ensuring the organization remains agile, resilient and prepared in an ever-changing environment.
This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for a well-rounded HR executive who thrives in a dynamic, results-oriented organization.
The position is onsite in our Plano, TX headquarters.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
Strategic Leadership- Develop and implement an HR strategy aligned with business demands and operational priorities
- Advise executive leadership on workforce design, risks, and talent acquisition and development strategy
- Partner with leaders to support change management initiatives
- Drive data-informed decision-making, shaping recommendations through the utilization of HR analytics along with workforce and marketplace insights
- Build organizational flexibility to respond effectively to market shifts, economic changes and evolving workforce expectations
- Ensure flexibility of the HR team to rapidly address short-term operational needs
- Build strong coaching relationships with senior managers
Talent Strategy & Workforce Planning
- Design and implement succession planning and leadership development programs
- Champion innovative talent acquisition strategies to attract high-caliber talent
- Continuously build talent pipelines with a strong employer value proposition and branding
- Drive continuous improvement in recruitment processes and talent metrics (i.e., time to fill)
- Ensure the hiring process meets all legal and regulatory standards
- Drive the investment in management training and development programs to help create a robust internal pipeline and well-rounded leadership and managerial capabilities
Employee Relations & Culture
- Lead initiatives that strengthen employee engagement, performance and retention
- Create an engaging, compliant and performance-driven workplace environment
- Advise leadership on employee relations matters, investigations and performance issues
- Ensure consistent application of employment policies and procedures across the Bank and its affiliates
HR Operations, Technology & Infrastructure
- Modernize HR systems and tools to support automation, analytics and efficient scalable processes that support the employee and employer experience
- Drive continuous improvement of HR service delivery models
- Ensure compliance with applicable employment laws and governance standards
- Lead and develop a high-performing HR team driving strategic implementation of ongoing HR programs
- Manage the HR department budget and approved capital expenditures
Benefits & HR Programs
- Develop an optimal benefits strategy and execution with strong vendor partnerships to ensure program success
- Continually benchmark and evaluate HR and benefits programs to ensure effectiveness and competitiveness within the financial services industry
HR Compliance & Governance
- Liaise with the legal team and external employment counsel
- Ensure compliance with federal, state and local employment laws and financial services regulations
Qualifications (Education, Computer Skills, Certifications, Etc.):
- Minimum of 10+ years of progressive Human Resources leadership experience, including at least seven in a senior executive-level role
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, communications or related field required
- SPHR, SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred
- Strong business acumen with ability to translate strategy into executable workforce initiatives
- Proven experience driving organizational transformation, technology implementation and change management
- Financial services or banking industry experience preferred
- Clear understanding of commonly outsourced HR functions and an ability to source, select, engage, implement and manage such functions
- Familiarity with major HRIS, ATS and benefits platforms as well as Microsoft Office tools
- Demonstrated success partnering with executive leadership
- Deep knowledge of employment law, compliance and workforce risk management
- Strategic thinker with strong business acumen
- Executive presence and ability to effectively communicate and influence others at all levels
- Skilled in navigating regulatory and compliance environments
- Collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-oriented
