The Grinder Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining grinding machines to produce precision parts. The ideal candidate will have experience in grinding operations and be proficient in the use of various grinding machines.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Must be able to operate a forkliftMust be able to read, write, and use a calculatorComply with and ensure safety rules, company policies and procedures are followedMust be able to work outside in heat, cold and rainAbility to run band saw for pipeLearn to calibrate weight scalesIdentify the different types of products and count for inventoryLearn to operate all equipment in the Grinding DepartmentCapable of doing general housekeepingAble to lift 50 poundsBasic computer knowledgeAny other duties assigned by your supervisor

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or EquivalentManufacturing and Forklift experience preferred
