We are currently seeking a Spring Law Clerk to join our Employment Department. This position is ideal for a 2L (preferred) or 3L law student with a strong interest in employment law. Prior experience in employment or civil litigation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Drafting motions and pleadings
• Conducting legal research and analysis
• Preparing discovery responses and correspondence
• Supporting case management and trial preparation

• Must be available to work at least 18 hours per week (part-time)
• Currently enrolled as a 2L or 3L law student
• General knowledge of California Civil Procedure
• Excellent legal writing and research skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
• Well-organized, detail-oriented, reliable, and punctual
• Strong communication and client service skills - must be comfortable speaking with clients daily

Salary: $25.00/hour
