About the Role:

The Warehouse position within the manufacturing industry is critical to ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials and finished products. This role involves managing inventory accuracy, maintaining organized storage areas, and coordinating with production and shipping teams to meet operational deadlines. The warehouse professional will play a key role in supporting manufacturing processes by ensuring that materials are available when needed and that finished goods are dispatched promptly. Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience working in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects up to 50 pounds regularly.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanning technology.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes and terminology.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends if needed.
  • Certification in occupational safety or related training.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming shipments against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Organize and store materials and products in designated warehouse locations to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer requirements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with production, quality control, and logistics teams to coordinate material flow and resolve issues.
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently.

Skills:

The required skills such as inventory management and equipment operation are used daily to ensure materials are accurately tracked and moved safely within the warehouse. Computer literacy enables the candidate to efficiently update records and communicate with other departments.
