The Role: Turn Customer Ideas Into Launch-Ready Products

You'll build accurate cost estimates and quotes, lead new product launches from quote award to production, and guide customers with design-for-manufacturability expertise on thermoplastic and liquid silicone rubber (LSR) molding programs. What You'll Do

  • Win new business with sharp quotes. Prepare detailed cost estimates and quotations for thermoplastic and LSR molded products and assemblies.
  • Size up every opportunity. Review RFQs, drawings and specifications for feasibility, and analyze tooling, material, labor, packaging and secondary operation costs.
  • Own the launch. Lead new product introduction projects from quote award all the way through production launch.
  • Bring new tools to life. Coordinate tooling development, mold trials, process validation and launch activities with suppliers and internal teams.
  • Keep projects on track. Manage timelines, budgets, risks and action items, and keep stakeholders informed.
  • Be the customer's technical partner. Provide DFM recommendations and technical support that make parts better and easier to build.
  • Drive continuous improvement. Support cost reduction and CI initiatives that keep MRPC competitive.

What You Bring

  • 5-10+ years of experience in injection molding, project engineering, estimating or program management
  • Knowledge of thermoplastic injection molding and/or LSR molding
  • Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred
  • Bonus points for: medical molding experience, Scientific Molding knowledge, ERP/MRP experience, familiarity with APQP, PPAP, FMEA and validation documentation, and SolidWorks CAD experience
