Compensation and Position Classification for Payments & Account Services Supervisor: Full-time benefits eligible, Exempt (Salary), $50,000 - $57,000/year, DOE, paid Bi-weekly.

What You'll Do

Lead. Develop. Deliver Results. As the Payments & Account Services Supervisor, you will oversee the performance, growth, and operational success of our payment and account services functions. You will play a key role in driving growth across our debit and credit card portfolios while ensuring a seamless member experience, strong financial performance, and operational integrity.

Payments & Account Services Supervisor Key Responsibilities include:

  • Lead and grow debit and credit card portfolios while achieving revenue and performance goals. Grow cards (both debit and credit) with activity to at least $580K as of Dec 31, 2026.
  • Manage the net income associated with debit and credit cards to be more than $356K, Expenses are under $622K, and Income is greater than $978K
  • Manage and oversee the IRA portfolio with accuracy and attention to detail; zero errors or expenses to the credit union.
  • Ensure operational excellence through strong controls, compliance, and audit readiness. Maintain no more than two total finding on all audits and exams pertaining to the department.
  • Develop, implement, and improve processes that increase efficiency, consistency, and risk management.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and drive measurable results across the department.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify opportunities for growth and service enhancement.

What We're Looking For in the Payments & Account Services Supervisor
  • Proven leadership experience with a track record of developing successful teams. Prior supervisory role experience in similar banking or credit union is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of payment services, card programs, financial operations, or related banking/credit union functions.
  • Exceptional coaching, communication, and performance management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a commitment to accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Fluent Bilingual English & Spanish preferred.
Required Experience and Education for the Payments & Account Services Supervisor
  • Two to Five years of similar or related experience in credit union/banking, such as credit/debit card disputes, ACH, EFT, etc. Related supervisory experience preferred.
  • A high school degree or GED is required.

Payments & Account Services Supervisor Location & Hours Onsite in our Tyler, TX Administration Office. Work hours 45+ weekly, Monday - Friday availability 7:45 AM to 6 PM, plus occasional weekends when business needs require.
