POSITION SUMMARY
The Catering Sales Representative is primarily responsible for booking catering orders via telephone calls, emails and third-party partners from current and potential customers for 6 concepts. The Catering Sales Representative will also recommend best menu and service options for their event needs and pricing; while offering upselling solutions to impact sales. This position will also be working with customers on guest relations, as well as with restaurant teams to ensure sound communication on all catering events.
The ideal applicant will have relevant knowledge or food service experience in restaurant catering. The Catering Sales Representative are trained to have the ability to know our products and services.
Responsibilities & Duties
- Manage all catering inquiries.
- Drafting catering quotes requests.
- Enter new catering ordering into our catering database.
- Communicate event information and details with restaurant teams.
- Offer guest resolution.
- Conduct outbound calls to establish new leads.
- Outbound efforts on lapsed and loyal catering guest to build sales.
- Build professional relationships with current customers to increase sales.
Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong technical skills (including Microsoft Office).
- Self-managed
- Ability to handle pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Work a variable and flexible schedule with some weekends and holidays.
- Call Center and sales experience a plus.
