This role is a senior-level opportunity for a data scientist who will lead end-to-end machine learning initiatives applied to people analytics and talent management solutions. You will work on complex data challenges that directly impact recruitment, retention, and employee engagement across a large-scale HR technology platform. The position combines advanced modeling work with strong product collaboration, ensuring that data-driven solutions are embedded into real business use cases. You will also play a key role in defining data governance standards, improving model explainability, and reducing bias in predictive systems. In addition, this role offers the chance to mentor junior team members and elevate best practices across the data team. • Lead the full lifecycle of data science projects, from business problem understanding to model deployment and production monitoring
• Develop and optimize machine learning models (supervised and unsupervised) applied to recruitment, retention, selection, and employee engagement
• Conduct advanced exploratory data analysis to uncover patterns, trends, and hidden insights in user and behavioral data
• Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into the platform
• Ensure model quality, governance, and fairness, with strong focus on bias mitigation and explainability (XAI)
• Mentor junior data scientists and promote best practices in coding, experimentation, and scientific rigor
• Communicate complex technical findings in a clear and strategic way for business and product stakeholders

Requirements:

• Strong senior-level experience in Data Science, ideally in SaaS or product-driven environments
• Advanced proficiency in Python and libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, or LightGBM
• Advanced SQL skills for large-scale data manipulation and insight generation
• Solid background in statistics, hypothesis testing, and predictive modeling
• Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS or GCP) and version control tools such as Git
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate business problems into data-driven solutions
• Experience in deploying and maintaining machine learning models in production environments

Nice to have:

• Experience with NLP, LLMs, or Generative AI
• Experience with recommendation systems
• Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools (e.g., MLflow, Kubeflow)
• Background in HR Tech or People Analytics
• Master’s or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields
