We're seeking an organized, personable Patient Care Coordinator to manage our front desk and coordinate sales at our Groton, CT hearing care center. In this role you serve as the primary point of contact for our patients — coordinating the daily schedule, guiding patients through their hearing care journey from first contact through follow-up, and helping the practice run efficiently and grow. It is an active, patient-facing role that blends front-desk coordination with sales support, including a steady volume of phone contact with patients throughout the day.
Job Title: Front Desk Associate
Job Type: Full Time, Five 8-hour shifts in person (No Weekends or Late Nights)
Compensation: $18 per hour (plus performance-based incentives)
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the welcoming first point of contact for patients, in person and by phone
- Maintain a moderate-to-high volume of inbound and outbound calls to schedule, confirm, and follow up on appointments and keep providers' calendars full
- Coordinate the sales pipeline by following up on inquiries, reactivating past patients, and supporting patients as they move toward hearing care decisions
- Handle check-in/check-out, insurance verification, payments, and accurate recordkeeping
- Partner with hearing care providers to deliver a consistent, high-quality patient experience that helps people hear—and live—better
- Light cleaning, filing, and inventory management

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and comfort handling a steady volume of patient calls throughout the day
- Customer-focused, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a busy office
- A motivated, goal-oriented approach to coordinating schedules and supporting practice growth
- Proficiency with computers and scheduling software, and the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Background in customer service, sales, hospitality, call-center, or medical front-office work is preferred; we provide full training
