Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Revenue Operations Systems based in Canada.
As a Manager, Revenue Operations Systems, you’ll serve as the technical backbone of a B2B SaaS revenue organization, owning the systems, integrations, data architecture, and reporting infrastructure that power Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. You’ll take hands-on ownership of a sophisticated revenue technology ecosystem and ensure its tools work together reliably at scale. The role combines systems architecture, automation, data governance, business intelligence, and cross-functional project leadership. You’ll work closely with operational leaders and revenue teams to turn business requirements into scalable technical solutions. You’ll also establish the governance and reporting foundations leadership relies on to understand pipeline, forecasting, retention, and overall business performance. This is an ownership-driven role where you’ll tackle both immediate requests and longer-term systems debt. The ideal environment is fast-paced and collaborative, with significant autonomy to improve how the organization operates.
- Own the implementation, architecture, integrations, workflow design, and ongoing management of the revenue technology stack supporting Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Manage and optimize systems including Salesforce, Tableau, SalesLoft or Outreach, CPQ and quoting platforms, Gong, ZoomInfo, Mixpanel, Retool, AI assistants, Slack, Google Workspace, and related revenue applications.
- Oversee integrations across the revenue ecosystem, ensuring reliable data flow, system functionality, security, and scalability.
- Lead implementation and rollout of new technologies following tooling decisions, including migration planning, cutover, provisioning, and coordination with IT on security requirements.
- Develop automation workflows that streamline revenue processes and measurably reduce manual work across Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success.
- Own the Salesforce data model and governance architecture, including object and field design, validation rules, required-field logic, stage gates, permissions, sharing, and record types.
- Establish structural data-quality controls that reduce reliance on manual cleanup and ensure governance standards are consistently enforced.
- Build and maintain reporting infrastructure covering pipeline health, stage and aging indicators, risk identification, segment benchmarks, forecasting, quota attainment, GRR, and NRR.
- Ensure reporting is accurate, accessible, trusted, and suitable for executive and board-level decision-making, while maintaining clear documentation of data definitions.
- Manage the RevOps request queue, including intake, triage, prioritization, and delivery of system, reporting, and data requests.
- Maintain and reduce systems debt by addressing CRM enforcement gaps, pricing and SKU structures, data inconsistencies, and manual provisioning processes.
- Distinguish between isolated system requests and underlying structural problems, prioritizing solutions that create sustainable improvements.
- Partner with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, and Enablement to align system capabilities with operational requirements.
- Provide training, support, documentation, and reusable how-to resources to drive adoption of systems and best practices.
- Lead end-to-end tooling evaluations, including requirements gathering, technical and integration assessments, security reviews, and business cases.
- Collaborate with Sales Operations on tooling decisions and vendor-related activities.
- Own cross-functional initiatives that span multiple departments, including project planning, stakeholder communication, execution, and measurable outcomes.
- Champion system and process changes across revenue teams, building alignment and adoption without relying on formal authority.
- 5+ years of experience in revenue operations, sales operations, business systems, or a comparable systems-ownership role within B2B SaaS.
- Proven track record as the primary owner of a revenue technology stack, with responsibility for architecture, administration, integrations, and ongoing optimization.
- Deep hands-on Salesforce administration experience, including data model design, Salesforce Flow, validation rules, permissions, sharing, and integration architecture.
- Salesforce Admin certification or equivalent practical expertise is expected; Apex or scripting experience is an asset but not required.
- Strong experience with Tableau or a comparable business intelligence platform, including developing advanced dashboards that business teams and leadership rely on for decision-making.
- Experience working with sales engagement platforms such as SalesLoft or Outreach.
- Demonstrated experience integrating multiple revenue systems and understanding how data can break across platforms and how to prevent those failures.
- Experience building revenue reporting covering forecasting, quota attainment, pipeline health, GRR, and NRR.
- Strong understanding of B2B SaaS revenue operations, including pipeline stages and exit criteria, forecast categories, segmentation, quota and compensation mechanics, renewals, and retention metrics.
- Experience with CPQ or quoting configuration, Gong, ZoomInfo, Retool or similar low-code tools, Mixpanel, Chili Piper, Zendesk, HubSpot, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator is an asset.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, IT, and other functions.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and commitment to technical quality and rigor.
- Ability to assess downstream impacts and risks before deploying system or process changes.
- Strong prioritization and project-management skills, with the ability to balance urgent requests against strategic improvements and systems debt.
- Demonstrated ability to drive adoption of systems and process changes across teams without positional authority.
- Comfortable navigating friction, building consensus, and communicating recommendations directly and constructively.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of execution.
- Fully remote position available to candidates based in Canada.
- Opportunity to take ownership of the technical infrastructure supporting a growing B2B SaaS revenue organization.
- High degree of autonomy and hands-on responsibility across systems, data, automation, and business intelligence.
- Opportunity to work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Finance, IT, and executive stakeholders.
- Exposure to a broad and modern revenue technology ecosystem.
- Opportunity to build scalable systems and governance foundations that directly influence business performance.
- Collaborative, ownership-driven environment focused on continuous improvement.
- Professional growth through complex systems, automation, analytics, and cross-functional initiatives.
- Opportunity to contribute to an innovative organization developing technology for complex engineering and manufacturing workflows.
