Mission

Waséyabek Federal Services, LLC (WFS) is a 100% Tribally owned, Native American SBA 8(a) small business of the Nottawaseppi Huron Band of the Potawatomi (NHBP). WFS is part of a portfolio of companies managed by Waséyabek Development Company, LLC, a 100% Tribally owned economic development firm focused on income diversification on behalf of NHBP that reaches beyond gaming is a well-funded, experienced small business with substantial liquid assets and experience in federal contracting. WFS has borrowing capacity to meet the daily cash needs of new business development, new award support, and operational working capital. WFS is well-versed in federal contract compliance and providing outstanding support services

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Supervisor to lead daily operations and maintenance (O&M) activities at a large federal facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role is responsible for overseeing site personnel, coordinating resources, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as the primary on-site leader to support facility and environmental service requirements.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, operations and maintenance, or environmental services, along with proven experience leading teams in a complex operational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of site operations and maintenance activities.
  • Direct and coordinate contractor personnel, resources, tools, materials, and equipment to ensure contract requirements are met.
  • Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for operational issues, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Monitor work quality, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance, environmental, and facility-related services.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of customer service and mission readiness.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Active Secret Security Clearance.
  • Associate degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent technical training, military experience, certifications, or relevant education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in operations and maintenance (O&M), facilities management, environmental services, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience supporting large facilities, campuses, industrial sites, or complex operations.
  • Demonstrated leadership and supervisory experience managing teams and resources.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent technical training, military experience, certifications, or relevant education may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Experience in environmental programs, environmental compliance, or environmental field operations.
  • Professional certifications related to facilities management, operations, environmental services, or project management.
  • Experience supporting federal government or Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.
