Program Product Specialist in Southgate, Michigan at GIRL SCOUTS OF SOUTHEASTERN MICHIGAN

Position Summary:

The Product Program Specialist is responsible for supporting the Girl Scout cookie program and Girl Scout fall product program. The position provides customer service and support to volunteers, caregivers, and girls participating in the product programs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide customer support by phone, email, text and in-person to girls, volunteers and caregivers participating in the product programs.
2. Maintain an organized space for the product program department at assigned GSSEM service centers.
3. Provide training to girls and volunteers participating in product programs via virtual and in-person training sessions.
4. Oversee operations of cookie cupboard at assigned service center or other assigned cookie cupboard location.
5. Oversee product deliveries at various indoor and outdoor locations as assigned.
6. Support top cookie seller events and activities.
7. Execute assigned tasks in annual product program work plan, in support of the Girl Scout cookie program and the Girl Scout fall product program.
8. Partner with community and retail locations to secure support for Girl Scout cookie booths.
9. Provide coverage for GSSEM retail shops as assigned.
10. Other duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications:
1. Experience with all Microsoft Office applications
2. Exceptional organizational skills
3. Demonstrated skill in developing and implementing new processes
4. Superior skills in customer relations
5. Ability to work under pressure of multiple deadlines and to coordinate several projects simultaneously
6. Ability to work evenings and weekends frequently as needed
7. Ability to travel to other GSSEM service centers and off-site events.

Essential Requirements:

Equipment Used: Computer, tablet, A/V equipment, projectors

Physical Demands: Occasional lifting of 30-50 pounds

Software: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

Work Conditions: Activities occur both inside and outside and at multiple locations
