The Hardware Associate is responsible for accurately processing hardware orders to support manufacturing and shipping operations. This position ensures hardware is verified, pulled, packaged, recorded, and staged according to work order requirements and established procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Review hardware work orders in the system for accuracy and completeness.
- Pull and verify hardware quantities using manual counting methods or a counting scale.
- Cut and/or Drill materials to specification.
- Accurately document quantities and complete required work order paperwork.
- Package hardware securely to prevent damage and maintain order accuracy.
- Label and identify hardware packages by job number for proper tracking.
- Complete Production Journal transactions and update job statuses in system.
- Stage completed hardware orders for downstream production and packaging operations.
- Identify discrepancies and escalate incorrect or incomplete work orders to the appropriate supervisor.
- Maintain an organized, clean, and efficient hardware work area.
- Follow established quality, safety, and material-handling procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to read and follow work orders and standard operating procedures.
- Ability to use machinery (saws, drill press, hand tools, etc..).
- Basic computer skills; Salesforce experience preferred.
- Ability to accurately count and handle various hardware components.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently while supporting overall manufacturing priorities.

The Hardware Associate is expected to maintain a high level of accuracy, traceability, and organization while ensuring hardware orders are completed on time and ready for the next stage of the manufacturing process.
