Guest Services Associate - Full Time & Part Time in Okemos, Michigan at Douglas J Institutes & Salons

We are looking for a friendly, professional, and dependable Guest Services Associate to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for our guests and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, positive experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, is organized and detail-oriented, and can confidently balance customer service, administrative tasks, and a busy front-desk environment.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional manner
• Answer phones and assist with scheduling appointments
• Check guests in and out and process payments
• Provide excellent customer service while managing front-desk communications
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and inviting reception area
• Monitor the daily schedule and help keep services running smoothly
• Assist with retail recommendations and purchases
• Represent the salon and med spa in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner

• Previous customer service, receptionist, front-desk, salon, spa, or hospitality experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Comfortable using computers, phones, scheduling systems, and basic office software
• Reliable and punctual
• Available to work daytime, some evenings, and some weekends
