RECONCILIATION SPECIALIST

TRS Healthcare | Finance Department | Remote – Northwest Arkansas Residents Only

ABOUT THE ROLE

TRS Healthcare is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Reconciliation Specialist to join our Finance team! This is a remote position open only to candidates who currently reside in Northwest Arkansas. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, performing account reconciliations, and supporting financial reporting and month-end close processes. The ideal candidate is analytical, highly organized, and able to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Perform general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
• Prepare journal entries, adjustments, reclassifications, and accruals.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close processes.
• Prepare audit reports and assist with financial compliance and internal controls.
• Identify opportunities to improve reconciliation processes, accounting procedures, and reporting accuracy.
• Analyze financial data and prepare reports to support management decisions.
• Collaborate with internal teams to investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum of 5 years of professional accounting experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Experience with financial reporting, audit processes, and month-end close activities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and general ledger accounting systems.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a remote environment.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Candidates must currently reside in Northwest Arkansas to be considered for this remote position.
