Audit Intern - Summer 2026 in Stamford, Connecticut at ITT Industries Holdings, Inc

We are looking for an intern to join our team for the summer. This is an 6 weeks internship with our Audit team, reporting to our reporting to our Vice President of Audit.

• Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports and presentations;
• Organizing and maintaining files (electronic and paper files)
• Help document and assess internal controls
• Support audit initiatives, including optimizing audit tools and improving efficiency
• Assist with documenting and assessing the effectiveness of company policies and procedures
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and potential issues
• Support audit teams in executing audit programs
• Support with other matters as requested by the corporate team

• High school diploma
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Law, or another related discipline
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to organize and prioritize multiple pending matters and to work effectively in a multi-tasking environment
• Expert user of Microsoft Office applications particularly Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
