This is a unique leadership opportunity for a data-driven strategist passionate about transforming insights into meaningful engagement and organizational impact. In this role, you will shape enterprise-wide analytics and audience intelligence strategies that inform fundraising, marketing, and stakeholder engagement initiatives. You will partner closely with senior leaders to translate complex data into actionable recommendations, drive personalization efforts, and optimize constituent experiences across multiple channels. Combining analytical expertise with strategic vision, you will oversee research, engagement measurement, and performance frameworks that support long-term growth and mission success. The position offers the chance to lead a high-performing team while influencing key decisions that strengthen relationships with donors, volunteers, alumni, and broader communities.
- Develop and execute a comprehensive insights and analytics strategy that supports organizational priorities, engagement objectives, and long-term growth initiatives.
- Lead the creation of audience intelligence frameworks using quantitative and qualitative research methods, behavioral analysis, segmentation, and predictive modeling.
- Translate complex datasets into actionable insights, personas, trends, and recommendations that guide fundraising, marketing, engagement, and strategic planning efforts.
- Design and oversee measurement frameworks that evaluate engagement effectiveness across digital, email, social, and other constituent-facing channels.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership by providing data-driven recommendations related to engagement performance, audience growth, donor behavior, and pipeline development.
- Build and maintain executive dashboards, KPIs, and reporting systems that support informed decision-making and organizational transparency.
- Lead engagement and personalization strategies that enhance constituent experiences, improve retention, and maximize lifetime value.
- Collaborate with development, marketing, customer experience, IT, and governance teams to ensure data quality, privacy compliance, system integration, and operational effectiveness.
- Oversee marketing intelligence capabilities by integrating data from CRM systems, analytics platforms, engagement tools, and external sources.
- Drive the responsible adoption of AI and advanced analytics solutions to support forecasting, personalization, process optimization, and strategic decision-making.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and platform performance while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of analysts, researchers, and engagement specialists, fostering a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Marketing, Market Research, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
- 10+ years of experience in consumer insights, business analytics, audience engagement, market research, or related disciplines.
- At least 2 years of leadership experience managing, mentoring, coaching, and developing individuals or teams.
- 6+ years of experience leveraging analytics and evaluation data to support strategic planning and organizational decision-making.
- Strong proficiency with analytics, reporting, and statistical tools such as SQL, Python, R, Tableau, Power BI, or similar technologies.
- Deep understanding of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies and their application to business and engagement challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to transform complex data into compelling narratives, strategic recommendations, and executive-level presentations.
- Experience with segmentation strategies, predictive modeling, behavioral analysis, customer journey mapping, and personalization initiatives.
- Expertise in KPI development, performance measurement frameworks, and enterprise reporting practices.
- Proven success influencing senior leaders and driving data-informed decision-making across complex organizations.
- Experience leading cross-functional projects and collaborating effectively within remote or distributed teams.
- Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience with fundraising, donor engagement, CRM systems, or nonprofit environments is highly valued.
- Familiarity with donor management platforms and marketing intelligence tools is considered an asset.
- Ability to travel domestically up to approximately 20% as needed.
