You will play a strategic role in shaping quality practices, test automation architecture, and engineering standards while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams throughout the entire software development lifecycle. - Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies covering manual and automated testing across multiple layers of applications.
- Lead end-to-end quality assurance activities for projects spanning web, mobile, desktop, API, and integrated systems.
- Create, execute, and optimize test plans, test cases, and validation processes to ensure full requirement coverage.
- Drive test automation initiatives, including UI, API, integration, and regression testing frameworks.
- Establish and evolve quality standards, governance models, and testing best practices across teams and products.
- Promote a quality-first culture by collaborating closely with developers, architects, product teams, and stakeholders.
- Support architectural decisions by advocating for testability, resilience, observability, and maintainability.
- Implement Shift-Left testing practices, embedding quality activities throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Leverage AI-powered testing approaches, including intelligent test generation, risk-based prioritization, autonomous testing, and self-healing automation.
- Conduct risk assessments, impact analyses, and test coverage evaluations for complex distributed systems.
- Contribute to quality initiatives in large-scale agile environments and support organizational quality transformation efforts.
- Mentor quality engineers and provide technical leadership to enhance team capabilities and maturity.
- Extensive experience in software quality assurance, quality engineering, and test automation.
- Strong background in functional, black-box, white-box, instrumented, regression, integration, API, security, and unit testing methodologies.
- Proven experience designing and executing UI testing strategies and automation frameworks.
- Hands-on experience testing web, mobile, desktop, and distributed applications.
- Advanced expertise in test automation architecture for UI and API testing.
- Strong understanding of test pyramid principles and scalable testing strategies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, JavaScript, and Python.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and automated quality gates.
- Knowledge of microservices architectures, distributed systems, messaging platforms, and critical integrations.
- Practical experience implementing Shift-Left methodologies and risk-based quality approaches.
- Familiarity with AI-driven testing tools and intelligent automation techniques.
- Experience working within SAFe or other scaled agile frameworks.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capabilities, and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across technical and business teams.
- Ability to mentor peers, influence technical decisions, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as ISTQB Advanced, SAFe, DevOps, or advanced automation certifications are considered a plus.
- Experience with observability, contract testing, resilience testing, chaos engineering, and quality governance across multiple products is highly desirable.
- Residency in São Paulo (SP) or Curitiba (PR) is required.
