Job Responsibilities Include:
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls, respond to program inquiries, and refer calls as needed
- Process and distribute incoming mail, and maintain accurate and up-to-date files
- Assist the public with completing pre-applications, scheduling appointments, and uploading documents
- Update system information and perform data entry tasks to support Rental Assistance team
- Provide administrative and clerical support to Housing Specialists and Inspectors
- Prepare and review rental assistance documentation, including RFTA forms and leases
- Manage and process tenant payments, ensuring accurate receipting and posting
- Other job duties as assigned
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of administrative or clerical experience preferred
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
- Proficient typing skills, with a preferred speed of 65 words per minute
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently, with a strong ability to schedule, organize, and prioritize tasks effectively
