Orthopedic Shoulder Surgeon: High-Volume Subspecialty Opportunity
Immediate Volume. Protected OR Access. Established Referral Network.
We are seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Shoulder Surgeon to join a high-demand, community-based orthopedic program within a leading integrated health system in the Rochester, NY region.
This is a true subspecialty shoulder opportunity with immediate surgical volume, strong regional referral demand, and priority access to OR block time and ambulatory surgery centers. The practice is structured to support a shoulder-dominant surgical focus with high procedural efficiency and long-term clinical growth potential.

Practice Model
This role offers the ability to build a high-performance shoulder practice within a community-based setting backed by a large integrated system. Candidates will benefit from:

Candidate Profile
- Fellowship-trained in Orthopedic Shoulder & Elbow Surgery strongly preferred
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Orthopedic Surgery
- Expertise in shoulder arthroscopy, arthroplasty, and complex reconstruction
- Interest in high-volume subspecialty practice development
- Eligible for NYS medical licensure

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: L - Light Work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly; requires occasional walking, standing or squatting.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
- Physician - New York State Education Department (NYSED)
PAY RANGE: $500,000.00 - $700,000.00
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for successful applicants. It may be modified in the future. Pay is determined by factors including experience, clinical licensure date, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
