AUS - Austin, TX - Facility Cleaner in Austin, Texas at LSG Sky Chefs

Responsible for the dusting, cleaning and sanitation of administrative areas, cafeteria, restrooms, common areas, work areas, floors, walls, equipment; sweeping, mopping and removal of trash within and outside of the facility.

Must maintain sanitation standards in accordance with Company policy and USDA/FDA/HACCP regulations.

• Must have good organizational skills and adapt to frequent changes
• Must be able to communicate effectively in written and verbal form
• Must be able to work around chemicals and follow the prescribed use of chemicals in a safe manner
• Must be able to apply safety and sanitation standards
• Must be able to read, write and understand warning labels (MDS sheets)
• Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs or push up to 50 lbs
• Must be able to work around moving parts & wet floors
• Must be able to use fingers & hands to handle equipment
• Must be able to stand for 8 hours a day
• Must be able to work in a hot and cold environment
• Must be able to walk / stoop / bend / twist / reach / squat / stand / reach / grasp / crouch for entire work shift
• Must be able to use power wash and foaming machines
• Must be flexible to work in a 24/7 environment which includes nights, weekends and holidays subject to change due to shift bidding
• Must be able to perform any additional duties as assigned
