Location: Los Angeles, CA

Key Responsibilities:

  • Concentrating on all aspects of domestic and international freight forwarding and customer service
  • Accounts that are assigned should be managed fully – receiving information, creating logistics plans, booking with vendors, and following up to ensure timely and safe delivery
  • All financial aspects of the shipment are to be analyzed and optimized from the time the customer information is received until the invoice is sent to the client
  • Additional responsibilities include working with operation staff to assist with their operational planning, vendor choice and overall performance
  • Organizing logistics for Interoffice operations and coordination of “Buddy” files and quotations
  • Receiving information from Rock-It staff or direct from customer, processing operational plan and costs (all modes of transport), arranging logistics for the shipment, file management in Cargo Science and preparing invoice from LAX office to intercompany office
  • Following-up with shippers and consignees in coordination with internal Rock-It agent to ensure quality and timeliness of shipments.
  • Any other duties that are required

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, Software Development, or a related field preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast paced environment
  • Experience or working knowledge of programming, software development, automation, or systems development
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Familiarity with data analysis, workflow automation, internal tools, dashboards, or process improvement initiatives
  • Ability to support both operational logistics functions and technical development initiatives
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills with high attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Comfortable learning new platforms, systems, and technologies
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operations, leadership, and technology teams
  • Experience in transportation, logistics, event operations, freight forwarding, or project coordination is preferred
  • Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude and commitment to delivering exceptional service
  • Travel may be required to support operational activities, live events, and special projects
