Billing & Revenue Specialist

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Billing & Revenue Specialist based in the United States.

This role sits at the center of billing accuracy, revenue integrity, and order-to-cash excellence across a multi-entity SaaS environment. You will ensure that invoicing, recurring revenue, and usage-based billing processes run smoothly, accurately, and on time across several business units. Acting as a key operational partner, you will collaborate closely with finance, accounting, sales, and customer-facing teams to resolve discrepancies and improve end-to-end financial workflows. The position blends analytical rigor with hands-on operational execution, especially in managing complex billing models and revenue reconciliation. You will help strengthen the financial infrastructure that supports scalable growth and customer satisfaction. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in fast-moving, cross-functional environments. Your work will directly improve revenue visibility, operational efficiency, and billing reliability.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead billing operations and revenue coordination across multiple business units, ensuring accurate and timely invoice generation, delivery, and reconciliation in collaboration with accounting and finance teams.
  • Manage the end-to-end order-to-cash process, including purchase order validation, customer billing issue resolution, and cross-functional coordination with sales and customer support teams.
  • Oversee ARR and recurring revenue reporting, supporting monthly reconciliation, identifying discrepancies, and improving revenue visibility and forecasting accuracy.
  • Handle usage-based billing operations, including GMV-based calculations, billing file generation, system uploads, and coordination with ERP platforms such as NetSuite.
  • Support SKU, pricing, and product catalog management within order systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy across quote-to-cash workflows.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external vendors to manage commissions, payment structures, and reconciliation processes tied to revenue streams.
  • Improve operational efficiency by documenting processes, resolving bottlenecks, and enhancing scalability across billing and revenue systems.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in billing operations, revenue operations, finance operations, or order-to-cash roles in a multi-entity or SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of recurring revenue models, ARR reporting, and usage-based or transaction-based billing structures.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP or billing systems such as NetSuite or similar financial platforms.
  • Experience managing SKUs, pricing configurations, and structured order workflows across systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to financial accuracy and operational detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple cross-functional initiatives simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across finance, sales, operations, and customer-facing teams.
  • Familiarity with SaaS, ecommerce, payments, or technology environments is a strong plus.
Benefits:
  • Comprehensive health coverage available from day one of employment
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions
  • RRSP options for Canada-based employees with matching structure
  • Flexible and uncapped paid time off to support work-life balance
  • Paid parental leave program (12 weeks)
  • Monthly remote work stipend for internet and phone expenses
  • Generous holiday schedule to support rest and recovery
  • Fully remote work environment with cross-functional collaboration opportunities
  • Opportunity to contribute to scalable revenue infrastructure in a high-growth SaaS environment
