Pay: $30.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Job Type: Part-Time Contract
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Setting: Hospice Care

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide hospice patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician. The LVN will provide care within the scope of the California Vocational Nurse Practice Act and applicable regulatory standards.

• Assist with the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Provide nursing care under the direction of a Registered Nurse or physician.
• Follow patient identification procedures and provide appropriate information for patient procedures.
• Collect and handle specimens as needed.
• Assess patient needs and implement prescribed interventions.

• Current LVN license to practice in the State of California.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a healthcare facility.
• Must understand the philosophy of hospice care.
• Must understand the needs of terminally ill patients.
