Job Description
At Accruity, we’re building something meaningful — for our clients and for each other. We’re a people-focused accounting services firm that helps business owners get back to what they do best by handling the financial heavy-lifting with clarity, consistency, and care. We support nearly 100 clients across the country with scalable, high-quality accounting solutions — and we’re just getting started.
We’re growing intentionally, investing in the right systems, structure, and culture to support great work and sustainable careers. Inside our team, we lead with trust, autonomy, and accountability — no micromanaging, no performative fluff. Just thoughtful self-starters doing real work, done well.
We believe the right fit matters most. We look for people who take ownership, invest in relationships, and aim to raise the standard every day. Our ideal teammate is reliable, curious, collaborative, and committed to growing — someone who welcomes feedback, takes initiative, and values being part of something bigger than themselves. If you’re always learning and believe how you show up matters, we think you’ll thrive here.
Who We Are
Accruity, a fast-scaling Finance as a Service firm whose purpose is to help entrepreneurs win by unlocking growth, clarity, and creating lasting impact, welcomes you.
We all work together to build the best end-to-end financial services platform at scale, reaching $30M in revenue and a $40M valuation by December 31, 2029.
We specialize in Finance as a Service — serving entrepreneurs who are overwhelmed, underserved, or operating without the financial clarity they need to scale. If you want to belong to a team that delivers that every day, this company is a great fit for you.
Our clients are entrepreneurs and business owners — primarily real estate investors and small-to-mid-sized operators — who need a trusted financial partner to handle the heavy lifting with clarity, consistency, and care. If you have experience leading teams that serve this type of client, this role will be a great fit.
You Will Love It Here If You:
- Take ownership — from start to finish (Accountability)
- Invest in relationships — with clients, colleagues, and the people you serve (Care)
- Raise the bar — not as a goal, but as your baseline (Excellence)
You’ll Love Coming to Work Every Day If You Get, Want, and Have the Capacity To:
Own the client relationship and the story behind the numbers
• Lead complex, multi-client accounting engagements under GAAP standards
• Manage client communications, deliverables, and expectations with confidence
• Ensure financials are client-ready — accurate, clear, and delivered on time
• Review and deliver high-quality financial reporting packages with accuracy and consistency
Lead, develop, and protect the performance of your pod
• Mentor Senior Accountants, Staff Accountants, and Bookkeepers toward professional growth
• Own team utilization and workload decisions to balance capacity and engagement mix
• Build a team culture that holds both people and standards in high regard
Drive delivery quality and manage risk before it becomes a client issue
• Oversee month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, and financial reporting across multiple client accounts
• Review and approve financial packages, analyses, and client-facing deliverables
• Use scorecard metrics to identify risk early and drive structural fixes
Improve the systems and workflows your team runs on
• Identify, design, and implement process improvements across workflows, documentation, and internal handoffs
• Lead with clarity — turn ambiguity into actionable structure for your team
Own your portfolio’s performance and engagement health
• Monitor revenue, gross margin, scope tension, and client expectations vs. engagement reality
• Escalate and address issues proactively — not reactively
