About the Role:

The Registered Nurse (RN) plays a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care across diverse healthcare settings in the United States. This position involves comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of nursing care to promote patient health and recovery. The RN collaborates closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure holistic and patient-centered care, addressing both physical and emotional needs. Additionally, the role emphasizes patient education and advocacy to empower individuals and families in managing their health conditions effectively. Ultimately, the RN contributes to improving patient outcomes through skilled clinical practice, compassionate care, and adherence to evidence-based protocols.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States.
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience in direct patient care within a clinical setting.
• Strong knowledge of medical/surgical nursing principles and telemetry monitoring.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
• Advanced certifications such as Certified Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (CMSRN) or Pediatric Nursing Certification.
• Experience working with nurse practitioners in collaborative care models.
• Training or experience in patient advocacy programs.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care including monitoring vital signs, administering medications, and performing wound care.
• Educate patients and their families on health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care strategies.
• Conduct telemetry monitoring and interpret cardiac rhythms to identify and respond to changes in patient status.
• Advocate for patients’ rights and needs within the healthcare team and ensure ethical and respectful treatment.
• Deliver nursing care in medical, surgical, and pediatric settings, adapting to the specific needs of each patient population.
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care plans.
• Document patient information accurately and maintain compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
