Summary/Objective
As a valued member of our team, the Special Projects Technician focuses on enhancing operational efficiency and addressing maintenance initiatives by collaborating with the maintenance team, engineers, and plant personnel to execute targeted projects. Supervisory Responsibilities: No
Essential Functions:
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and timelines. Execute maintenance projects efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
• Investigate equipment failures, identify underlying issues, and propose corrective actions. Use data-driven insights to improve reliability and prevent recurring problems.
• Maintain accurate records of project progress, and outcomes.
• Creating and installing forms for concrete pouring, installing and tying rebar for structural support.
• Finish concrete surfaces to meet required specifications.
• Perform drywall installation and repairs.
• Conduct basic plumbing tasks.
• Operate company machinery, including loaders, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Manage and install various types of cables neatly and efficiently.
• Set up and troubleshoot surveillance and other camera systems.
• Operate basic Wi-Fi devices and differentiate between network switches and firewalls.
• Implement Category B wiring standards with ability to punch down and crimp network cables accurately.
• Travel to all company locations as required.
• Work weekends when necessary to meet project deadlines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

• Competent in operating loaders, forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently.
• Capable of working independently and taking initiatives to complete tasks.
• Able to work effectively with maintenance teams, engineers, and plant personnel.
• Flexible to travel to various company locations and willingness to work weekends and adjust to changing project demands.
• Prioritize safety protocols during project execution. Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. General days and hours of work are based on shift, hours to be determined. Not eligible for remote work. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
Travel Required: Estimated less than 10%
Preferred Education and Experience
• Vocational training in a related field such as electrical, networking, construction, or industrial maintenance.
• 3+ years’ experience in a similar role involving cable management, network installation, and troubleshooting.
• 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, industrial or construction-related tasks such as concrete pouring, rebar installation, plumbing tasks, and drywall installation.
• Demonstrated ability to operate machinery such as loaders and forklifts.
• Experience with Category B wiring standards and fundamental networking concepts.
• Familiarity with safety standards and practices in construction and industrial settings.
