As a part of A.K.A Brands; we are a global player with offices located in Los Angeles and Australia’s Gold Coast. With big plans ahead, we're always on the hunt for new talent to join our global team.

We’re looking for an organised, hands-on and solutions-focused Inventory Controller to join our Distribution team. You'll work closely with the Inventory Team Leader to keep our inventory operations running smoothly, coordinating workflow, allocating resources, and supporting the team on the floor to deliver daily priorities safely, accurately, and efficiently.

You’ll be at the heart of keeping stock accurate and fulfilment on track by investigating discrepancies, resolving failed actions and problem orders, whilst partnering with teams across the wider Distribution Centre operation to find solutions.

If you’re someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is comfortable with data, takes ownership, stays calm under pressure and is always looking for a better way to do things, we’d love to hear from you. Come and join our epic team, where the vibes are high every day; you’ll learn from some of the best in the business, and have the opportunity to grow, develop and achieve your career ambitions.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Coordinate daily workflow, allocate resources and ensure the team stays focused on priorities, productivity, accuracy and SLAs.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, failed actions, oversold stock and problem orders, whilst working cross-functionally to keep fulfilment moving.
  • Provide day-to-day direction, support and coaching to the Inventory team
  • Keep a close eye on workflow, backlogs, inventory accuracy and KPIs, identifying risks and taking action before they impact operations.
  • Use data, team feedback and operational insights to identify recurring issues, uncover root causes and drive practical improvements.
  • Partner with Inbound, Outbound, Retail, Returns, and IT to resolve issues and keep stock and customer orders on track.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • 1–2 years experience in Inventory, fulfilment, warehouse or DC operations.
  • Experience leading, supporting or coaching a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory, stock control and fulfilment processes.
  • Experience with WMS, inventory systems and Excel.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and organisation skills, with the ability to prioritise and keep things moving.
  • A proactive, accountable and solutions-focused mindset.
  • A strong commitment to safety, compliance and customer outcomes.
WHY YOU’LL LOVE IT HERE

Because work should be more than just work.

  • Amazing employee discounts — because treating yourself is part of the job, right?
  • A team of legends — fun, positive and supportive people who have each other’s backs.
  • A culture that celebrates success — big wins, small wins and everything in between.
  • The chance to work alongside like-minded, trend-setting individuals.
  • A positive company culture that celebrates both personal and company milestones.
