Job Description

Picklebet is a next generation esports, sports and racing betting platform and media brand. Australian owned & operated, we are set to become a major player, both domestically and internationally.

After continued growth, we are seeking a talented and driven Compliance Product Manager to oversee the entire product lifecycle, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, quality assurance, and design to deliver.

This role will entail leading a squad focused on meeting compliance requirements, fundamentally responsible for the delivery of projects aimed at fulfilling Governmental, industry, and third-party regulatory obligations through Scrum methodology and JIRA management.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize product features, particularly those related to regulatory requirements, changes and disclosure
  • Define and execute product roadmaps aligned with business goals and customer needs, with a strong emphasis on compliance
  • Manage and facilitate agile Scrum processes, including sprint planning
  • Communicate product vision and work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely and high-quality product delivery
  • Help maintain and manage the relevant product backlog in JIRA, ensuring clarity and prioritisation
  • Lead the maintenance and update of product disclosure documents and associated member communications, ensuring compliance with regulatory changes.

Ideally you have:

  • Understanding of Australian wagering regulations, ie AML and RG
  • Experience in Product Management, ideally with UX/UI principles and product design
  • Proficiency in using JIRA for backlog management, sprint tracking, and reporting
  • Strong understanding of Agile and Scrum methodologies
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all levels of organisations
  • Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with the sports betting industry, including trends, regulations, and customer behaviour.
