Position SummaryDo you have the analytical mindset and expert-level Excel skills to turn complex production demands into a schedule the shop can rely on? As a Production Scheduler, you will outline, schedule, and manage the production and inspection of highly complex machined parts and personnel. You will create production schedules, track progress, provide status updates to internal departments, and periodically review the critical factors that affect production - relying on expert-level Excel skills to build, maintain, and analyze schedules, capacity models, and production reports. If you have a strong planning skills and thrive on data-driven decision making, we encourage you to apply and become part of our team!- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent experience in the metal manufacturing industry; Aerospace experience is a plusMinimum 5 years of experience in the metal manufacturing industryExpert-level Excel skills including but not limited to complex formulas, pivot tables, pivot charts, conditional formatting, power query, and advanced charting techniquesMust have experience working within strict production and manufacturing deadlinesFamiliar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures typically used in a manufacturing environmentProficiency with MS Office applicationsExcellent organization, people and communication skillsFluent and effective in English written and verbal communication; bilingual in Spanish is a plus
- Production planning and scheduling preparationAnalyze and monitor Sales ForecastOngoing awareness of raw material inventory and WIP-release requirementsPreparation of workorder / binders, and any re-wip requirements Develop and maintain master schedule of production sequences such as Production Waterfall ChartMonitor project status and expedite operations to resolve unforeseen schedule delaysPrepare periodic production reports
