We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to provide psychiatric medication management services for an established behavioral health practice in Baton Rouge, LA.

This opportunity is ideal for a provider looking to supplement their current practice with a flexible, low-commitment schedule while making a meaningful impact in the community.

Responsibilities

Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments
Diagnose and treat mental health conditions
Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure quality patient care

Qualifications

Active PMHNP license in the State of Louisiana
DEA registration (or ability to obtain)
Current national board certification as a PMHNP
Strong clinical judgment and excellent communication skills
Previous outpatient psychiatric experience preferred
