Job Description
Background check, US Citizenship, secret clearance, and drug screening are requirements of this position. Contingent upon award.
The McHenry Management Group (TMMG) is seeking an Associate Vessel Construction Management (VCM) Test Analyst to support the Landing Ship Medium (LSM) Program. Working as part of the Vessel Construction Management Team, the Associate VCM Test Analyst supports the Program Test & Evaluation Manager and the Vessel Construction Management Test Analyst by providing day-to-day field oversight of shipboard construction, system completion, and Test & Evaluation (T&E) activities.
Unlike traditional shipyard test personnel, this position does not execute production testing. Instead, the Associate VCM Test Analyst serves as the field representative responsible for monitoring testing activities, verifying system readiness, collecting technical data, documenting construction and testing progress, tracking deficiencies, and reporting observations that support the Vessel Construction Management team's independent assessment of vessel readiness.
The Associate VCM Test Analyst serves as the daily "eyes and ears" of the VCM organization within the shipyard, ensuring leadership receives timely, accurate, and objective information regarding construction progress, testing activities, system completion, and emerging technical or schedule risks.
