Drive Operational Excellence in a Growing Manufacturing Environment
Gorilla Mill is seeking a highly organized and proactive Supply Chain Coordinator to support our purchasing, inventory, planning, and supplier management functions. This position plays a critical role in ensuring materials are available when needed, production stays on schedule, and supply chain processes operate efficiently.
The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, enjoys solving problems, and takes ownership of day-to-day supply chain execution. Experience with Epicor ERP or a similar manufacturing ERP system is highly valued.
Purchasing & Supplier Management
- Create, manage, and track purchase orders to support production requirements.
- Work directly with suppliers to ensure timely delivery, quality, and cost expectations are met.
- Maintain strong vendor relationships and proactively resolve supply issues.
- Support supplier sourcing and evaluation activities.
Planning & Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and material availability to support production schedules.
- Assist with demand planning and material requirements planning (MRP).
- Identify and communicate material shortages, delays, and inventory risks.
- Help maintain optimal inventory levels while balancing operational and financial objectives.
ERP & Data Management
- Utilize Epicor ERP to manage purchasing, inventory, and planning transactions.
- Maintain accurate item, inventory, supplier, and purchasing data.
- Support reporting and data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Assist with continuous improvement of ERP processes and system utilization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner closely with Production, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on material and scheduling needs.
- Communicate material status, supply risks, and potential delays to key stakeholders.
- Support process improvement initiatives focused on efficiency, inventory optimization, and cost reduction.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, inventory control, planning, or related manufacturing functions.
- Experience working within an ERP system.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and business systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Business, or a related field.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Epicor ERP experience.
- Familiarity with MRP, purchasing, forecasting, and inventory management processes.
