This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Service Engineer for Virtual Manufacturing & Costing Simulation Software based in Canada.

Join a collaborative technical team supporting advanced manufacturing simulation and costing solutions used by customers around the world. In this role, you'll combine engineering expertise with customer engagement, helping users maximize the value of sophisticated simulation software through technical support, training, and consulting services. You'll work closely with product development, sales, and international partners to resolve complex challenges while contributing to product improvements and best practices. Accountabilities
  • Provide technical support for virtual manufacturing and costing simulation software through web portals, email, and phone.
  • Assist customers and international sales partners in troubleshooting software issues and delivering effective technical solutions.
  • Develop application examples, tutorials, training materials, technical documentation, and best practice guides.
  • Prepare and deliver customer-specific training sessions on simulation software and manufacturing applications.
  • Independently manage and execute technical service projects from planning through completion.
  • Document product issues thoroughly and collaborate with product development, sales, support, and cross-functional teams to improve product quality.
  • Contribute customer feedback and technical insights to help drive future product enhancements.
  • Continuously evaluate simulation applications, modeling approaches, numerical methods, and implementation strategies to identify opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience supporting engineering software, manufacturing simulation, or related technical applications.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, simulation technologies, or engineering analysis.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and communicate solutions clearly to customers.
  • Experience creating technical documentation, user guides, tutorials, and training materials.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with experience delivering technical training.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
  • Collaborative mindset with experience working across product development, sales, customer support, and engineering teams.
