Accounting Coordinator in Greater St. Louis, Missouri at EBS Recruiters LLC

Our client is seeking an Accounting Coordinator to support day-to-day accounting operations across multiple entities. This role is responsible for accounts payable, inventory transactions, credit card processing, and general accounting support while partnering with internal teams to ensure accurate financial records. The ideal candidate is analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a collaborative accounting environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage full-cycle accounts payable for multiple entities
• Receive and record raw materials and packaging into inventory
• Process and reconcile employee credit card expenses
• Communicate with vendors regarding invoices, payments, and account inquiries
• Assist with physical inventory counts and inventory reconciliations
• Support credit and collections projects
• Perform account reconciliations, reporting, and ad hoc financial analysis
• Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and operational efficiency
• Assist with special projects and other accounting duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Manufacturing or food and beverage industry experience is a plus
• Experience with SAP or another ERP system; willingness to learn new systems
• Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
• Basic understanding of inventory and manufacturing accounting concepts
• Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively across departments
• Continuous improvement mindset with a desire to grow professionally
