Job Description
CTG's long-standing Fortune 500 client of over 15 years has a W2 contract assignment for an Administrative Assistant/Secretary II, to provide high-level administrative support across multiple business teams. This position serves as a flexible administrative resource, providing backup coverage, coordinating daily operations, and supporting leaders, employees, and project teams with a variety of administrative functions.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, professional, and experienced in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced corporate environment. Strong Microsoft Office skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to handle confidential information are required.

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Corning, NY
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm
Education: Associate’s degree in Business Administration preferred
Key Responsibilities
• Provide administrative support including calendar management, meeting coordination, onboarding support, and departmental activities.
• Coordinate travel arrangements, expense reports, purchasing activities, and office administration.
• Manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
• Support meetings, events, presentations, reports, and special projects.
• Prepare spreadsheets, presentations, and business documents using Microsoft Office Suite.
• Maintain SharePoint and Microsoft Teams sites.
• Assist with records management, audits, shipping/receiving coordination, and departmental processes.
• Provide backup administrative support across teams as needed.
• Work independently while collaborating effectively with employees, leaders, and cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
• 2–3 years of administrative experience in a corporate environment preferred.
• Candidates without a degree must have 3+ years of relevant administrative experience.
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience managing calendars, meetings, travel coordination, and expense reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work with confidential information and exercise sound judgment.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and support multiple teams.
• Experience with Concur and PeopleSoft preferred.
