What You'll Do
As a Retail Team Leader, you'll play a key role in driving store success, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and developing team members. You'll partner with store leadership to ensure smooth daily operations while motivating associates to achieve sales and production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Retail Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations
- Deliver outstanding customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally
- Coach, train, and develop retail associates to maximize performance
- Provide leadership, guidance, and feedback to team members
- Help maintain a safe, productive, and welcoming store environment
- Monitor sales transactions and ensure proper cash-handling procedures are followed
- Address escalated customer and operational issues
- Ensure accurate pricing, quality standards, and merchandising execution
- Support inventory management and production processes
- Drive team productivity and achievement of store goals
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
What We're Looking For
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous retail leadership or supervisory experience (1+ year preferred)
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Ability to motivate, coach, and develop team members
- Effective communication skills in English
- Flexibility to work opening, production, and closing shifts
Leadership Responsibilities
This role provides training, direction, and work delegation for:
- Donation Attendants
- Merchandise Processors
- Sales Associates
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, kneeling, and reaching
- Ability to lift and carry up to 35 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
- Regular and reliable attendance required
Pay & Benefits
Starting Pay: $15.00 per hour starting and then can move up to $16/hour after completing digital literacy training.
