OGD Equipment Co. is a total solutions provider for commercial overhead door and loading dock equipment, serving businesses across the United States for over a decade. Headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, we partner with general contractors, developers, architects, and facility owners on projects ranging from single-door installs to large-scale new construction — handling everything from design/build consulting and equipment sales to installation, planned maintenance, and 24-hour emergency repair.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Junior Project Coordinator to support our project management team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly, and is eager to grow into a project management career. This role helps plan, track, and coordinate projects from kickoff through completion, working closely with project coordinators/managers, internal teams, vendors, and customers to keep work moving on schedule and within budget.
Responsibilities:
- Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of active projects, including scheduling, task tracking, and status updates
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, budgets, meeting notes, and action items
- Coordinate communication between internal teams, vendors, and contractors
- Track deliverables and deadlines, flagging risks or delays to the project manager proactively
- Prepare and distribute status reports, dashboards, and project summaries
- Schedule and help facilitate project meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up notes
- Support procurement coordination, such as tracking material and equipment orders and delivery timelines
- Maintain organized digital files and project records for easy team access
- Assist with onboarding new projects, including setting up folders, trackers, and initial documentation
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or a related role (internships count)
- Experience in the equipment, construction, manufacturing, or field-services industry preferred
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
- Comfortable learning project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar)
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
