OGD Equipment Co. is a total solutions provider for commercial overhead door and loading dock equipment, serving businesses across the United States for over a decade. Headquartered in Fort Worth, TX, we partner with general contractors, developers, architects, and facility owners on projects ranging from single-door installs to large-scale new construction — handling everything from design/build consulting and equipment sales to installation, planned maintenance, and 24-hour emergency repair.

Position Overview:

We are seeking an organized and detail-oriented Junior Project Coordinator to support our project management team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicates clearly, and is eager to grow into a project management career. This role helps plan, track, and coordinate projects from kickoff through completion, working closely with project coordinators/managers, internal teams, vendors, and customers to keep work moving on schedule and within budget.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist Project Managers with day-to-day coordination of active projects, including scheduling, task tracking, and status updates
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including timelines, budgets, meeting notes, and action items
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, vendors, and contractors
  • Track deliverables and deadlines, flagging risks or delays to the project manager proactively
  • Prepare and distribute status reports, dashboards, and project summaries
  • Schedule and help facilitate project meetings, including agenda preparation and follow-up notes
  • Support procurement coordination, such as tracking material and equipment orders and delivery timelines
  • Maintain organized digital files and project records for easy team access
  • Assist with onboarding new projects, including setting up folders, trackers, and initial documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience in project coordination, administrative support, or a related role (internships count)
  • Experience in the equipment, construction, manufacturing, or field-services industry preferred
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and/or Google Workspace
  • Comfortable learning project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Smartsheet, or similar)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
