The Channel Marketing Specialist will own the strategy and execution of marketing programs across the Canadian market, ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivering measurable results. Key responsibilities include:
- Act as the primary marketing partner for the Canadian market, collaborating with sales, regional marketing, operations, and business teams.
- Develop and execute market-level marketing strategies aligned with regional and global objectives.
- Translate broader marketing initiatives into locally relevant programs that address Canadian customer and partner needs.
- Lead end-to-end execution of integrated marketing campaigns across channels including retail, e-commerce, digital marketing, events, and partner activities.
- Manage marketing development funds (MDF) effectively, ensuring investments generate measurable business impact and return on investment.
- Adapt global and regional marketing programs to maximize relevance and effectiveness in the local market.
- Define campaign KPIs, establish success metrics, and monitor performance to identify optimization opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, campaign results, and customer insights to provide strategic recommendations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously while balancing strategic planning and operational execution.
- Share market updates, best practices, and growth opportunities with leadership teams.
The ideal candidate is an experienced channel marketing professional with strong knowledge of the Canadian technology market and proven ability to drive integrated marketing initiatives. Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced marketing degree is a plus.
- 6–8+ years of experience in channel marketing or a related marketing discipline, preferably within the technology industry.
- Strong understanding of Canadian retail, e-commerce, and distribution channels.
- Proven experience developing and executing successful channel marketing programs.
- Experience supporting product launches, integrated go-to-market strategies, and partner-focused initiatives.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at different organizational levels.
- Experience working within global or regional marketing organizations.
- Ability to manage complex projects independently with strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Fluency in English and French is required.
- Willingness and ability to travel within Canada and the United States as needed for partner meetings and events.
