HR Operations Specialist III

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a HR Operations Specialist III based in India.

This is an opportunity to join a global HR team in a dynamic, fast-paced environment supporting employees across multiple regions.
You will take ownership of critical HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, employee changes, compliance documentation, and HRIS administration.
The role combines operational expertise with problem-solving, process improvement, and a strong focus on employee and client satisfaction.
You will work across geographically diverse teams and navigate HR practices spanning APAC, EMEA, and the United States.
As an experienced HR professional, you will have the autonomy to manage complex situations with limited day-to-day direction.
Your attention to detail and ability to prioritize competing requests will help ensure smooth, compliant, and efficient HR operations.

Accountabilities
  • Manage global employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee change procedures.
  • Administer HRIS processes and support client-specific employee provisioning and data requirements.
  • Maintain accurate HR documentation, records, and files to support compliance and operational requirements.
  • Resolve a broad range of HR operational issues using sound judgment, creative problem-solving, and a strong service orientation.
  • Collaborate with global HR stakeholders and internal teams to address complex, unexpected, and unique employee situations professionally.
  • Monitor and improve HR processes, systems, and workflows to increase efficiency and enhance employee and client satisfaction.
  • Support the consistent application of HR policies, practices, and compliance requirements across multiple regions.
  • Manage multiple requests and priorities from diverse stakeholders while maintaining accuracy and timely follow-through.
  • Build strong working relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders within areas of expertise.
  • Contribute to a professional, collaborative, inclusive, and service-focused work environment.
  • Take on additional HR operations responsibilities and projects as required.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, combined with approximately 5–8 years of relevant experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Solid experience in HR operations, employee lifecycle administration, HRIS management, or a related HR function.
  • Hands-on experience working with large, enterprise-level HR information systems.
  • General understanding of employment laws, HR practices, and government compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of HR practices and requirements across APAC and EMEA, with the ability to provide backup support for U.S. operations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact sensitively and effectively with a diverse global employee population.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment when selecting approaches and solutions.
  • Resourceful and comfortable operating with limited information or day-to-day direction.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to maintain accuracy across complex HR processes and documentation.
  • Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and requests from different stakeholders.
  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills, including the ability to collaborate with senior internal and external personnel.
  • Professional, service-oriented approach with the ability to handle sensitive HR matters with discretion and maturity.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, global, and continuously evolving environment.
  • Ability to perform computer-based and other standard office-related tasks, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing when required.
