As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to support operational objectives and provide valuable insights to stakeholders. You will collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand requirements, improve data quality, and develop effective analytical solutions.
- Identify, collect, and evaluate data sources while ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability of information.
- Analyze complex datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights that support informed decision-making.
- Prepare and transform data for analysis, including merging datasets, handling anomalies, aggregating information, and selecting relevant features.
- Develop and maintain workflows, dashboards, reports, and data visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Qlik, Databricks, and Microsoft data services.
- Establish quantitative and qualitative metrics and key performance indicators to measure outcomes and improve processes.
- Present findings, recommendations, and technical insights clearly to clients and leadership teams through reports, presentations, and visual formats.
- Research, develop, and test data methodologies to improve analytical approaches and support evolving requirements.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders by understanding their needs and translating technical findings into practical recommendations.
- Support strategic decision-making by simplifying complex data concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain compliance with security requirements and support activities requiring appropriate clearance.
The ideal candidate is a skilled data professional with experience in analytics, visualization, and stakeholder engagement. You should have strong technical abilities combined with communication skills and the ability to turn complex information into clear recommendations.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years of experience working in a professional data analysis environment.
- Experience collecting, analyzing, and interpreting both qualitative and quantitative data.
- Proven ability to present data findings and recommendations to clients and business stakeholders.
- Experience preparing data for analytical models, including data cleansing, aggregation, validation, and feature selection.
- Strong knowledge of databases, scripting languages, and analytical methodologies.
- Experience creating data visualizations through dashboards, graphs, tables, and presentation materials.
- Familiarity with Microsoft data platforms and analytics tools such as Databricks, Qlik, and Tableau.
- Ability to research, test, and implement data-driven methodologies.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.
- U.S. citizenship required due to security clearance requirements.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $65,000–$71,000, depending on experience, skills, certifications, education, and other factors.
