You’ll own top-of-funnel sourcing across multiple searches, spanning technical, business, education, and mission-driven functions.
The role combines high-volume sourcing with thoughtful, personalized candidate engagement and strategic pipeline development.
You’ll work closely with recruiters and hiring managers to turn evolving requirements into focused and effective search strategies.

This six-month contract is ideal for a proactive sourcer who thrives on variety, technology, ownership, and measurable recruiting impact.
- Execute high-volume outbound sourcing across multiple active requisitions simultaneously, building strong and diverse candidate pipelines.
- Use LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, and AI-assisted sourcing workflows to identify, research, and engage qualified talent efficiently.
- Develop personalized and compelling outreach messaging designed to attract and convert passive candidates.
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers to translate role requirements, including ambiguous or evolving needs, into targeted sourcing strategies.
- Manage multiple searches and competing priorities while maintaining strong candidate quality, responsiveness, and pipeline momentum.
- Use AI tools as an integral part of the sourcing workflow to improve research, outreach, candidate identification, and overall productivity.
- Monitor and report on sourcing activity and pipeline metrics to provide visibility into search health and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Identify sourcing and recruiting process gaps and contribute ideas that improve efficiency and candidate engagement.
- Support employer branding and sourcing-related initiatives, including contributing up to one day per week to broader talent engagement activities.
- Adapt quickly to changing hiring priorities and proactively identify new approaches, tools, and channels for reaching qualified talent.
- 2+ years of experience in talent sourcing or recruiting, whether in an agency, in-house, or internship environment.
- Demonstrated ability to independently conduct sourcing activities and manage multiple searches at the same time.
- Active, self-directed experience using AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, or similar technologies to enhance recruiting and sourcing workflows.
- Strong proficiency with LinkedIn Recruiter and experience building targeted candidate searches and pipelines.
- Excellent written communication skills, particularly the ability to create concise, personalized, and engaging candidate outreach.
- Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments where priorities and requirements may evolve quickly.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage high sourcing volume without compromising candidate quality.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with a willingness to identify problems, challenge inefficient processes, and take ownership of solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Genuine enthusiasm for expanding access to technical education and creating pathways into technology careers.
- Experience sourcing for technical or niche roles is preferred.
- Familiarity with Gem and Greenhouse is an advantage.
- Experience in a startup or high-growth environment, particularly within an organization of fewer than 200 employees, is a plus.
- Ability to quickly understand technical concepts and tools such as GitHub, BigQuery, and related technologies is beneficial.
- Compensation: $70,000–$85,000 USD annualized, pro-rated for the six-month contract term.
