We are seeking a highly organized and collaborative Manager of Cancer Center Administration to support the day-to-day operations of our Cancer Center. In this role, you’ll partner closely with Cancer Center leadership, physicians, infusion and clinic teams, practice managers, and community partners to coordinate operations, advance patient support initiatives, and maintain a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment.
A Typical Day
As the Manager of Cancer Center Administration, you’ll balance operational leadership, administrative coordination, patient support, and community engagement. Your responsibilities may include:
- Overseeing day-to-day Cancer Center operations in collaboration with the AVP, physicians, Infusion, Clinic, and Private Practice Managers.
- Providing direct oversight of Cancer Center lobby operations and personnel to promote an inclusive, safe, and welcoming environment.
- Serving as a liaison between Cancer Center leadership, physicians, staff, patients, families, and other stakeholders.
- Developing, coordinating, and maintaining patient support programs and resources.
- Supporting Cancer Center accreditation and regulatory activities, including Commission on Cancer (CoC) and NAPBC requirements.
- Partnering with the AVP and Tumor Registry Coordinator to prepare for Cancer Committee meetings and accreditation activities.
- Coordinating bi-monthly Cancer Conferences and other Cancer Center programs and meetings.
- Managing the Patient Assistance Fund, including monthly disbursement reporting and transportation-related resources.
- Coordinating educational programming, including identifying facilitators, arranging agreements, scheduling programs, and promoting events.
- Coordinating community outreach activities, volunteer schedules, promotional materials, and event resources.
- Managing community donations and overseeing their appropriate distribution.
- Managing the AVP's calendar and providing administrative support for Cancer Center leadership.
- Ensuring departmental operations remain compliant with applicable organizational policies, laws, and regulatory requirements.

To Be Considered
Qualified candidates will possess:
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a medical office or clinical setting required.
- Bachelor's degree in a healthcare-related field preferred, but not required.
- Strong computer proficiency and the ability to effectively utilize healthcare and business applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Demonstrated adaptability and sound judgment within a changing healthcare environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with physicians, leadership, clinical teams, patients, families, and community partners.
- Experience supporting healthcare regulatory, accreditation, patient experience, or programmatic initiatives preferred.
