This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Manager, Special Projects based in the United States.
This is a high-visibility role within Revenue Operations, focused on strengthening the data and analytics infrastructure behind commercial decision-making.
You will build scalable pipelines, models, dashboards, and reporting frameworks that give Sales, Marketing, and Revenue leaders trusted insights.
The role combines data engineering, business intelligence, revenue operations, and commercial analytics in a highly cross-functional environment.
You will help modernize legacy reporting processes while creating more automated and self-service solutions for a growing organization.
Your work will also influence headcount planning, sales compensation, capacity planning, and rep productivity initiatives.
As a technical and strategic partner, you will translate complex business questions into scalable data solutions and actionable recommendations.

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes that consolidate commercial data from multiple source systems into a trusted source of truth.
- Develop and automate reporting for core commercial KPIs, including pipeline, bookings, retention, productivity, and other revenue metrics.
- Drive improvements to the Revenue Operations analytics ecosystem through scalable data infrastructure, automation, self-service reporting, and standardized processes.
- Lead technical planning and execution for complex data platform initiatives, balancing immediate business priorities with long-term scalability and maintainability.
- Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to improve reporting efficiency, data accessibility, and operational decision-making.
- Establish best practices for data governance, metric standardization, reporting automation, and analytics platform management.
- Support headcount and capacity planning while partnering with Sales Compensation to accurately model quotas, territories, compensation plans, and related downstream data.
- Analyze sales representative productivity and identify opportunities to improve seller performance, ramp time, and operational efficiency.
- Build and maintain dashboards and self-service reporting tools that enable faster, more confident decision-making across commercial teams.
- Proactively investigate and resolve data quality issues while implementing monitoring and validation processes to improve trust and consistency in reporting.
- Partner with Go-to-Market Intelligence, Business Analytics, Sales, Marketing, Finance, and other stakeholders to translate business questions into scalable data models and reporting solutions.
- Mentor team members and contribute technical direction to create a scalable, high-performing analytics function.
- 6–10+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, Revenue Operations, Sales Operations, or another data-focused discipline.
- Hands-on experience building ETL pipelines and working with modern data warehouses or data lakes such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, Databricks, dbt, or similar technologies.
- Strong SQL expertise and experience working with complex commercial datasets.
- Proven experience developing analytics solutions for Revenue Operations, including sales performance reporting, KPI frameworks, pipeline analytics, forecasting, and executive-level insights.
- Experience with Python or another scripting language and familiarity with BI platforms such as Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or Sigma is a plus.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce and core sales processes, including pipeline stages, forecasting, territory management, and quota management.
- Solid knowledge of SaaS and commercial metrics such as pipeline, bookings, ARR, churn, and rep productivity, as well as exposure to capacity planning and sales compensation.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into scalable data models, KPI frameworks, dashboards, and reporting solutions.
- Experience leading complex cross-functional analytics initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.
- Strong technical judgment and the ability to establish scalable data practices, standardized metrics, and reporting frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to bring structure and clarity to ambiguous, data-intensive challenges.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts and analytical insights to non-technical stakeholders.
- A proactive, improvement-oriented mindset with an interest in using AI and automation to enhance analytics workflows and business operations.
- Base compensation range of $150,000–$180,000 USD.
