Summary:
Vighter LLC is recruiting Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists to provide patient care support at the CRDAMC. Computed Tomography (CT) Technologists are responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients to ensure that the quality of the studies adhere to established standards. The standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding all recognized national standards.

Principle Accountabilities:
- Responsible for performing routine and advanced CT imaging procedures.
- Responsible for providing care across the range of Radiology Technologist services as would be provided in a state-of-the-art medical treatment facility. The standard of care shall be of a quality, meeting or exceeding currently recognized national standards.
- Critique images for quality and notify the Radiologist and/or CT Supervisor of significant exams requiring immediate attention while the patient is undergoing examination.
- Conduct image quality review and PACS documentation and ensures all documentation required for the completion of the exam is complete in data entry systems.
- Use judgment and initiative, relying on established protocols and past practice when a difficult decision must be made.
- Prepare and positioning patients
- Must be able to perform common exams listed below:
- Head, Neck, Chest, Abdomen & Pelvis
- Extremities
- Spleen, Aorta, Kidney, Bladder
- Biopsies & Drainages
- Must adhere to National Patient Safety Goals (NPSG) standards /guidelines.
- Prepares contrast material for fluoroscopic and special procedures under the direction of the Radiologist for the purpose of performing imaging examinations.
- Must be continuously alert to the patient’s condition and other disorders. Adverse reactions of the patient require immediate attention so that harm does not come to the patient or equipment.

- Knowledgeable and complies with Army, DHA, HIPAA/Privacy Act, and safety standard regulations regarding the confidentiality of patient medical records and information as well as Personally Identifiable Information (PII).
- Performs other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Must have exceptional customer service skills.
- Employees shall be technically proficient in the skills necessary to fulfill the job requirements, including ability to speak, understand, read and write English fluently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced changing environment with limited supervision
- Excellent organizational, scheduling and prioritization skills.
Education:
- Associate degree or higher is required.
- Graduate from an academic program accredited by the Joint Review (JRCERT) School of Radiologic Technology.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum two (1) years of experience in specialty as a CT Tech.
- Certification:
- Current ARRT Radiography (R) certification
- ARRT (CT) certification (required within one year of hire)
- Current Texas Medical Radiologic Technologist License
- Must have and maintain certification in Basic Life Support or Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) through the American Heart Association.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a willingness to adapt and innovate as needed.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with diverse teams and convey complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
Duty Hours / On-call Requirements:
- 40 hours per week
- Sunday–Saturday
- Day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts
- Up to 12-hour shifts
- Overtime authorized only with Government approval

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand or sit for more than 8 hours per day.
- Must be willing to work overtime if necessary.
- Must be able to use an elevator or walk up and down stairs.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds and carry up to 10 feet.
- Must be able to routinely grasp or handle objects, use finger dexterity, bend elbows/knees and reach above and below shoulders.
- Must be able to read and interpret handwritten and typewritten print.
- Must be able to communicate by voice and detect sound by ear.
- Must be able to perform duties in an indoor or outdoor environment.
- Must be able to pass a criminal background investigation.
- Must undergo Urine Drug Screening (UDS).
- Must be a United States Citizen as required by the contract.
